Howdy Cousin, You have lots of info for sure and I'm not sure either of us can
comprehend all of it. My gr gr grand mother was Mary Elizabeth Price McClees
EDDS, dau of George Price and Barbara Hussey. Mary Price McClees was widowed
abt 1840 when my grgrgrdfather, John Milton McClees died leaving her with
two small dau, Jane and Mary Ann. I don't understand how our
ancestors made it... Yankee ingenuity I guess. I never could quite get all
of grandmother's cousins straight. I almost feel guilty having fathered 5
children, 12 grandchildren, and 5 grgrandkids so far...Population is a
problem even tho I love my family. I am a native of KS but my dad was fm IL.
Have lots of roots in Logan, Tazewell, Mason & Menard Cos. Back to the plot
of the story, you can bet your last buck that Andrew Milton was Bartlett's
son and the brother of Sarah C. b.abt 1851(look at 1860 census). By the way,
no only does the surname get many spellings but I've found Bartlett as
Bartell, Barnett, with one 't', two 'n's, you name it, think different when
you spell a name. Phonetics in 17 languages. Enough for now. If you have
info on all 7 of the Mary & Bartlett offspring I'd like to know of them.Good
hunting and pleased to 'know' you.
